PRODUCT DETAILS
Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) is a composite wire made of aluminum wire and galvanized steel core through concentric twist process, which is specially designed for overhead transmission lines. Its core structure is divided into two parts:
Internal steel core: galvanized steel wire is twisted to provide high strength support and ensure the tensile performance of the wire in harsh environment (such as wind, ice and snow).
External aluminum layer: multi-strand duralumin wire is spirally wound around the steel core to undertake the function of power transmission, with lightweight and high conductivity.
Model classification and standard adaptation:
According to the strength of the steel core, it is divided into: ordinary strength (JL/G1A, G1B), high strength (JL/G2A, G2B), extra high strength (JL/G3A).
Compatible with international standards: British standard (BS), American standard (ASTM), European standard (DIN/IEC), to ensure global project suitability.
AAC Technical Characteristics Based on Standard DIN 48201 / DIN EN50182
ACSR Technical Characteristics Based on Standard BS 215-2
AAAC Technical Characteristics Based on Standard BS 3242
Technical advantages:
Structural stability: steel and aluminum work together to give consideration to mechanical strength and conductive efficiency.
Economical and efficient: lower cost and larger current carrying capacity than pure copper wire.
Strong environmental adaptability: suitable for long span, high altitude, heavy ice area and other complex terrain.
Process of production
As the source factory, we adopt the whole process of independent production and strict quality control to ensure that the products meet international standards:
Raw material preparation:
The aluminum ingot is melted, rolled and drawn into aluminum wire of specified diameter, and the steel core is made of high quality galvanized steel wire.
Stranding process:
Steel core forming: 7 steel wires are twisted (1 center +6 outer layers) to form a high tensile core.
Aluminum layer stranding: 24 aluminum wires are evenly wound around the steel core through the tube stranding machine to ensure the concentricity and tension balance.
Post-processing and testing:
Annealing softening aluminum wire, eliminate internal stress; Laser code identification model, full inspection of conductivity, tensile strength and other key parameters.
Quality control system:
Through ISO 9001 quality management system certification, from raw material procurement to finished products can be traced.
IEC 60888 (steel core) and IEC 60889 (aluminum wire) standards are implemented to ensure material performance.
Main purpose
Steel core aluminum strand is the core material in the field of power transmission, widely used in:
High voltage transmission network:
As the backbone wire in the national grid and UHV projects, it supports large-capacity and long-distance power transmission.
500kV and above lines often adopt the "four split" erection mode (four wires are hung in the same tower).
Special scenario coverage:
Cross river/Cross valley line: With high strength, reduce the number of towers and poles and reduce engineering costs.
Railway electrification and new energy access: used for high-speed railway catenaries and wind farm grid-connected lines.
International infrastructure projects:
Adapt to European and American standards, participate in overseas power grid transformation, urban distribution network upgrade and other projects.
Source factory advantage
As an integrated manufacturer of industry and trade, we offer:
Customized production: support British standard (BS 215), American standard (ASTM B711), European standard (DIN 48206) and other customized requirements.
Fast response and delivery: Self-owned production line to shorten the lead time, support urgent orders and batch purchase.
Full-cycle service: from technical selection to installation guidance, provide one-stop solutions.
